Achieving a Foundation of Lifestyle As Medicine Everyday
You were made in the image and likeness of God. By viewing your health through the lens of the Holy Trinity, you can flourish in mind, body and spirit. Nourishing the whole person includes attending to lifestyle as medicine, embracing positive psychological practices and developing your relationship with Christ. Isn't it time that you become who God meant you to be?
Lifestyle Medicine Aflame uses the Holy Trinity as a model of whole person health, through coaching, education and Catholic spirituality. Multiple services are available, whether you’re just looking for a self-paced online course, one-on-one health and wellness coaching, a parish wellness program or guidance on mindfulness-based strengths practice. A free discovery call can help you determine which components might best help you or your parish to move forward in improving your health in mind, body and spirit.
The AFLAME program includes personalized coaching sessions that will address lifestyle behaviors, goal setting, problem-solving, and accountability. Participants will receive guidance in the behavior change process, while addressing nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, social connection, and risky substances. Positive psychology interventions will be incorporated, as well as integration of Catholic spirituality.
Via Trinitatis Sani - This mini-course introduces you to the Trinitarian Model of Health, as well as the foundational aspects of lifestyle medicine, positive psychology and religion/spirituality that have been shown in research to improve health and promote flourishing. Learn how to leverage this research to increase your success with behavior change by integrating spirituality with health behaviors.
Register Now! - An essential aspect of managing stress and improving well-being is cultivating awareness in the present moment, as well as growing our character strengths. Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice (MBSP) will help you to better understand your strengths and how to leverage them in the present moment to fully engage with life. **Next 8-wk Session: January-February 2025.
Presentations can be offered to your congregation that promote health & spiritual growth using a Trinitarian Model of Health.
Combine parish wellness presentations with adoration to create a half-day retreat. Musical reflection will be provided during a Holy Hour after the wellness program.
Offer a series of wellness talks during Lent or Advent, to help you parishioners grow their faith, build community and increase positive health in mind, body, & spirit.
Help your parishioners embrace health of mind, body & spirit.
Using a Trinitarian Health Model, I have a three part approach to helping you improve your health in mind, body & spirit. So many other approaches to diet, exercise and health limit their perspective to body and mind, leaving out the important spiritual component. My approach is rooted in mindful spirituality, providing the foundation for you to address your physical health and wellbeing. This approach has become particularly important for me in breast cancer survivorship, where I learned first-hand the importance of having a solid foundation of faith and positive psychology, on which to build the pillars of lifestyle medicine for health.
